The Diploma in Engineering is a pathway program designed to help you successfully progress to the second year of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). It provides you with the opportunity to study core foundational engineering units in a highly supportive learning environment with smaller class sizes and a more personalised learning journey. Beyond providing a broad grounding in engineering disciplines, you will also develop your academic skills for future study success.

QUT Offer Guarantee: If you achieve an ATAR/QUT selection rank of 87.00 or higher (including any adjustments) and satisfied all other admission requirements, you are guaranteed an offer for this course.
Part-time students should note that daytime attendance may be required.
Upon completion of the diploma, you will be automatically offered a place in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). Each of your diploma units will be credited to the degree.
