Course outline

You gain legal knowledge and skills for a career in law and law-related fields. Law degree content has a practical focus, and includes all the subjects required for admission as a legal practitioner in Australia: legal practice and ethics, contracts, torts, criminal law and procedure, equity/trusts, civil procedure, evidence, constitutional law, property law, administrative law, and corporate law. You gain practical skills from your first year. Law honours is available, usually without extending the time to complete your degree.
