Course outline

Students are trained in news writing, broadcast reporting, photography, media rounds and industries, digital publication and design, media ethics and law. Students can undertake specialised subjects such as foreign correspondence; fashion, travel and sport writing; multimedia production; photojournalism; creative non-fiction and fiction writing; social media and citizen journalism. Students have the opportunity to report for local, national and international media outlets throughout their program and can undertake internships in Australia or internationally. Prerequisites

Completion of Year 12 with at least OP 15 equivalent to be considered. Applicants with post-secondary studies will also be considered (refer to Admissions Criteria on the Bond University website). An admission pathway is available for this program.
