The Bachelor of Interior Design (Commercial) provides the knowledge required to design the ever-changing features of our commercial environments, such as retail channels, hotels, restaurants, nightclubs and workspaces. It anticipates online virtual commercial environments, engages with contemporary theory and represents spatial environments with computer 3D modelling.
Throughout the course, you will explore the theoretical and practical elements of designing and making commercial interiors – branding, lighting, sustainability and materiality – to create environments that meet your client’s needs. You will discover how commercial interior-design strategies are developed and assessed, as well as practical industry-based management skills, such as documentation, contract management, professional design practice and cross-disciplinary interaction.
