This double degree prepares you to work in a range of roles to apply technology to business or education enterprises. As a graduate, you can work as secondary school teachers in two teaching areas, one being information technology and one being English, geography, history, or mathematics. You specialise in one of two majors. The computer science major equips students to solve complex problems or be an expert in mobile computing, artificial intelligence, robotics or coding. The information systems major prepares students to work with people, data, business processes and technology to find innovative solutions.
As a graduate, you can lead technology advancement in education settings, or as a teacher, use innovative teaching strategies to improve outcomes for learners. Professional experience provides the opportunity to work in real educational and information technology settings, supervised by practising professionals in the field.
