About

Griffith College has been helping students transition smoothly into university for over 25 years. With a Griffith College diploma, students are equipped with the academic skills and confidence required to succeed at university. Our expertise and experience allow us to provide our students with the opportunity to not only survive – but to thrive.

Our students benefit from small class sizes rather than large lecture theatres, and courses specifically designed to strengthen their academic and maths skills. Our dedicated student learning advisors offer study skills workshops and assessment consultations to provide students with all the support they might need to reach their goals.

Our team are very proud of the 25,000 Griffith College graduates who have successfully passed through our doors and on to their degree of choice.
Diploma to degree at Griffith University
Our university-designed diplomas mirror the courses taught in a bachelor’s degree, so students can transition to university with confidence. Upon completion of our diploma programs, students receive the same number of credit points as they would in their first year of university study.* A three-year degree requires students to earn 240 credit points; our diplomas provide up to 80 credit points towards this total**.

This means most of our students are able to progress directly to the second year of their degree at Griffith University.

Griffith College students are welcomed as part of the Griffith University community and enjoy access to university facilities and services, including clubs, societies, and world-class sporting facilities.
Entry requirements (no ATAR needed)
Year 12 graduates are admitted regardless of their ATAR results and their ATAR eligibility (i.e., those not on an ATAR pathway can be eligible). Applicants with recent secondary education (in the last five years) receive entry when they have obtained a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE), or equivalent from another state/territory or a certificate III or higher.

Preference the diploma to bachelor pathway in your QTAC application and receive an offer to move directly to university on successful completion of your diploma*.
