Griffith University - Gold Coast

Course outline

The Diploma of Engineering is a pathway program designed to help you transition into the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). You’ll develop foundational knowledge and skills in a supportive learning environment. We’re strong believers in `learning by doing’, so this degree has a strong practical focus. You’ll learn from teachers who are passionate about engineering and the difference it makes in the world, so you’ll get to experience their energy in your studies. You’ll study academic foundations courses to develop a strong foundation in basic science and engineering principles, with additional support and access to a dedicated First Year Coordinator and Peer-Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) run by high-achieving students. We have a wide range of industry contacts and partnerships that help you build your professional network. If you continue on this pathway into the bachelor degree, you will have the chance to participate in hands-on learning opportunities, undertaking a trimester-long project through our capstone Industry Affiliates Program.
