Course outline

The Diploma in Engineering is a pathway program designed to help you successfully progress to the second year of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). It provides you with the opportunity to study core foundational engineering units in a highly supportive learning environment with smaller class sizes and a more personalised learning journey. Beyond providing a broad grounding in engineering disciplines, you will also develop your academic skills for future study success.

Combined diploma/degrees

Upon completion of the diploma, you will be automatically offered a place in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). Each of your diploma units will be credited to the degree.

Prerequisites

Applicant must be 16; Completion of Year 12 or attained age 18 years

English or Literature, or English and Literature Extension, or English as an Additional Language (Units 3 & 4, C); General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods or Specialist Mathematics (Units 3 & 4, C)
