This course provides students with essential knowledge and skills to work as information technology professionals in a fast changing dynamic world. Core subjects including networks, web technologies, programming, serious games, information management and visualisation, databases, big data, network security, multidisciplinary project management, e-technologies and mobile technologies provide students with an array of career opportunities. Students engage in a series of applied information technology projects throughout the course to gain real-world experience. A professional internship or multidisciplinary project forms the capstone subject. This course is accredited by the Australian Computer Society (ACS).
