With extensive work-integrated learning opportunities and featuring 48 weeks of paid industry placement, this course provides students with vast opportunities to gain real-world experience to prepare for a career as a professional engineer. The education and training of this course focuses on developing skills desired by employers, including effective teamwork and problem-solving. The first year allows students to experience many engineering projects which will assist them in deciding which engineering discipline and course major they wish to pursue. Students can choose to major in traditional engineering disciplines as well as dual major options that will prepare them for emerging specialist fields of engineering including electrical and information processing, electrical and data analytics, electrical with industrial automation, mechanical with industrial automation, and civil and humanitarian engineering. For more course information, visit Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Diploma of Professional Practice (Co-op Engineering).
