Bachelor of Communication/Bachelor of Public Health
Queensland University of Technology - Kelvin Grove

Course outline

Public health professionals understand how factors such as gender and race, socioeconomic status and access to education can create barriers to improved health and wellbeing.

Combine this with knowledge about how communication can successfully disseminate messages and influence human behaviour, and you develop the capacity to implement strategies that promote healthy lifestyle choices, prevent the spread of infectious disease and improve education.

This course provides opportunities for professional placement which may be completed locally or overseas.

This course is covered by the QUT Offer Guarantee and Year 12 Early Offer Scheme.
