Course outline

The Bachelor of Business in Sports Management is designed to equip you with a broad theoretical and technical knowledge required to operate and manage effectively within the sports management field. Throughout your studies, you will investigate the historical foundations of sport, management principles, socio-cultural influences of sport, and the role of governance in sport

Throughout the course, you’ll discover how to produce clothing designs to industry standards while meeting budgets and timelines and how to manage the integrity and positioning of a brand. Led by highly regarded industry professionals, you’ll investigate the theories behind design and marketing, evaluate communication and brand-fashion strategies, and scrutinise past, present and future fashion trends.

An important element of this course is the placement of the students with an endorsed host organisation(s). Work placements provide a valuable resource for you to develop hands-on practical experience to ensure you graduate confident and job-ready. A key task will be the completion of a reflective journal covering the experience and the identification and analysis of key learning outcomes.
