Course outline

This course combines the Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts) degrees. The business component is designed to inspire you to realise your potential to think entrepreneurially and to ethically and sustainably shape the future of business. Early in the course, you will develop core business capabilities including critical thinking, professional communication, digital and technological fluency, teamwork, and global citizenship. You then undertake focused and authentic study in your chosen business discipline, engaging with the real world of business through work-integrated learning, projects and placements. You build creative practice in the fine arts major of visual arts. Graduate with advanced technical and creative practice skills and highly developed business knowledge. You are equipped to take advantage of the growing range of career opportunities available in the creative industries, whether that be as a creative practitioner or business professional, or by applying creative skills in a business environment.

Applicant must be 16; Completion of Year 12 or attained age 18 years

English, or Literature, or English and Literature Extension, or English as an Additional Language (Units 3 & 4, C); and for accounting, behavioural economics, economics, finance, financial planning, and marketing majors – General Mathematics, or Mathematical Methods, or Specialist Mathematics (Units 3 & 4, C)
