Course outline

Students gain specialist knowledge and skills in the business and commerce and science disciplines, with a strong emphasis on professional communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Students can think constructively and logically and use technologies and skills acquired in their major study areas to solve modern-day problems. Students can choose from a variety of study areas to equip them with a multidisciplinary degree that provides a solid foundation in business and commerce or science fields. Membership

Accounting major: associate membership of CPA Australia, eligibility to study the CPA Australia professional exams and eligibility to study the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand professional exams; can also qualify students for exemptions from the Fundamental level (nine papers) of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants exams. Accounting major with finance minor: meets the educational entrance requirements of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. Finance major: associate member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. Human resource management major: professional membership of Australian Human Resources Institute.
