The Diploma of Business in the Digital Age will provide students with the skills in business and technology that are increasingly needed across a range of industries to support businesses in growing and evolving in a more uncertain environment. The Diploma of Business in the Digital Age, has been designed with the input of local businesses and industry stakeholders to address local skills shortages. In this course, students will spend most of their time learning in the workplace and working closely with a supervisor and university staff member who will support them in completing tasks aligned with their role and their business needs. Students will undertake problem-based learning and apply the solutions to an authentic workplace problem. Students will have the opportunity to gain crucial lifelong learning and transferable generic skills such as critical thinking and problem-solving and learn to apply these skills to a range of employment opportunities and life situations.
