Course outline

The Diploma in Creative Industries will deliver coherent and integrated theoretical, technical and practical knowledge with an emphasis on developing technical, analytical, decision-making, problem solving, teamwork and communication skills with real world application. Upon successful completion of the Diploma, you will be able to articulate into the Bachelor of Creative Arts with 96 credit points of advanced standing.

In the Bachelor of Creative Arts, you will study a major with disciplinary units focused on specialist knowledge in your chosen field, alongside a set of cross-disciplinary common units that develop key creative, critical and professional skills to prepare you for a range of creative roles and career pathways. This course structure will enable you to curate your own career, with flexible opportunities to extend and expand your creative practice, developing transferable skills across a range of industries. You will build a portfolio of new work and collaborate on innovative projects that showcase your creative and critical skills.

Combined diploma/degrees

Upon completion of this diploma, you will be automatically offered a place in the Bachelor of Creative Arts. Your completed diploma will provide up to 96 credit points (1 year) advanced standing to the degree.
