Course outline

This certificate/diploma/degree offering is ideal for people seeking employment in the accounting, business and finance sectors. During this course you will develop an advanced understanding of accounting, taxation law, auditing, finance and economics. You will also develop skills in creativity, innovation, marketing and digital business.. TAFE Queensland’s highly-experienced teaching staff will support you to develop industry-ready skills. You’ll graduate with current, practical bookkeeping and accounting skills that are attractive to prospective employers.

Note

Applicants offered a place in the certificate/diploma who are not eligible for a subsidised enrolment will pay full fee. The degree is delivered by TAFE Queensland in partnership with the Federation University. VET Student Loans may be available to eligible applicants for study in the diploma, refer to tafeqld.edu.au/study-with-us/what-it-costs/index.html for information. The degree is a Commonwealth supported place.

Admissions Criteria

Successful applicants must successfully complete FNS40222 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or equivalent before progressing to the Diploma of Accounting.

Prerequisites

Completion of Year 12 or attained Year 12 leaving age
