The Bachelor of Social Work combines core knowledge and skills in social work and social policy. Students learn about social work and the law, human development, professional ethics, current welfare and social issues in Australian society, and a range of related social science disciplines. Students benefit from innovative learning methods and engage in simulated activities that demonstrate the challenging scenarios they are likely to encounter in practice. They will undertake 1,000 hours of supervised clinical placement in a range of clinical settings that include hospitals and a range of public and private agencies.
