Course outline

With a practical focus, the counselling major equips students with the skills necessary to manage the demands on a human service practitioner and a solid foundation to work in community organisations. This program gives students the option to combine the eight-unit counselling major with a 12-unit psychology major to strengthen their job opportunities. Bachelor of Science (Counselling) is not accredited externally. Residential schools within the Bachelor of Science (Counselling) may assist students accrue hours of face to face instruction/tuition often required by professional counselling associations as part of membership criteria.
