Course outline

Sharpen your skills and knowledge and take control of your career in accounting with this degree. This qualification is ideal for people wanting to take their career in accounting, business and finance to the next level. During this course students will develop an advanced understanding of accounting, taxation law, auditing, finance and economics. Students will also develop skills in creativity, innovation, marketing and digital business. Successful completion of this course qualifies students to work in the business and finance sector.

Admissions Criteria

To be eligible for an offer in this course applicants must have successfully completed FNS40217 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and FNS50217 Diploma of Accounting. The course will be 2 years duration, 18 months will be taught at TAFE Queensland, South Bank. The last six months of the course will be taught at Federation University, Anne Street Brisbane or online.

Completion of Year 12 or attained Year 12 leaving age; Prior study
