Course outline

This program incorporates the core subject areas of environmental science, human geography, environmental law, social and community planning, environmental impact assessment, regional planning, and urban and environmental design. Students choose elective studies to reflect their interests and career plans. With campuses in two of Queensland’s fastest growing cities and located alongside the World Heritage-listed Wet Tropics rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, the University provides a living laboratory for the study of the natural environment and urban development. This course is accredited with the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA).
