Course outline

Prepare to be a catalyst for change and advocate in the ever-evolving landscape of communications, public policy and leadership.
With this vertical double degree program integrating a Bachelor of Communication and Master of Public Policy and Leadership, you’ll gain the expert skills to shape a better future for generations to come.
This program offers a comprehensive understanding of the diversity and complexities of the contemporary communication and media landscape, and how to establish your career as a change maker in design, implementation, evaluation and administration of public policy.
You will develop advanced writing skills, multimedia production abilities, and the capacity to think both laterally and creatively. You will be able to use these skills to engage the challenges of public service leadership at personal, community and global levels.
Career readiness and employability programs are integrated throughout the degrees. You will have the opportunity to undertake case studies, internships, and collaborative projects with leading organisations, gaining practical experience and building a professional network before you graduate. For more course information, visit Bachelor of Communication/Master of Public Policy and Leadership at GU.

Some courses will include optional in-person workshops and discussions. Students will access course materials, participate in learning activities, lodge assessment items and access support services via Learning@Griffith.
