Course outline

You will build your creative practice in one of the Creative Arts majors: Animation; Contemporary Art; Creative Writing; Dance; Drama; Film and Screen; or Music. You will also choose a business major from accounting, advertising, behavioural economics, economics, entrepreneurship and innovation, finance, financial planning, human resource management, international business, management, marketing or public relations that will broaden your educational experience and improve your career opportunities. You will graduate with advanced creative practice skills and highly developed business knowledge, equipped to take advantage of the growing range of career opportunities available within the creative industries, whether that be as a creative practitioner, an industry professional, or by applying your creative skills within a business environment.

Prerequisites

Applicant must be 16; Completion of Year 12 or attained age 18 years

Assumed knowledge

English, or Literature, or English and Literature Extension, or English as an Additional Language (Units 3 & 4, C); and for accounting, behavioural economics, economics, finance, financial planning, and marketing majors – General Mathematics, or Mathematical Methods, or Specialist Mathematics (Units 3 & 4, C)
