About
As the country’s fastest-growing university, Torrens University Australia brings a fresh approach to higher education, with employability at the centre of everything we do.
A progressive university that fosters passion, we take a strengths-based approach to teaching. Recognising individuality and potential as better indicators of future success than exam scores, we do not consider ATAR our primary entry requirement*. Our focus on transferable soft skills means everyone has the chance to achieve their academic and career goals.
Built on the strong foundations of our distinguished schools and colleges, such as Billy Blue College of Design and Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, Torrens University offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses designed with and for industry.
Our future-focused courses in Business, Design and Creative Technology, Health and Hospitality are taught by leading experts and delivered on campus, online and as a blend of both. With locations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, our national campus network and flexible study options allow students to tailor their learning journey.
Academic staff and industry partners help students bridge the gap between study and work. Our small lecture sizes and personalised approach to teaching ensures students develop strong, relevant skills and thrive in their chosen field. We offer partnerships with industry, allowing students to complete practical experience with some of the most influential brands on the planet.
Accessing cutting-edge facilities and technology while gaining genuine insights in situations that reflect their future workplaces, students develop the competitive edge to help land their dream career. Many of our graduates secure employment at companies they’ve collaborated with or through connections they’ve made during their time with us. From enrolment through to graduation, students are supported every step of the way by a passionate network of Success Coaches. Offering guidance and encouragement, our coaches help students excel in their studies and create the right trajectory for their chosen career.
At Torrens University, we give students the tools they need to create their own success. Call 1300 575 803 or email futurestudents@torrens.edu.au if you would like one of our Future Student Advisors to visit your school.
