About us

For over 30 years, the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP) has been equipping its graduates to work in applied psychology and related fields such as counselling, community services, social science, psychology, social work and case management, by providing education focused on the development of practical skills and knowledge.

ACAP students are prepared professionally, academically and personally to work in community and corporate settings, gaining skills, expertise, and awareness of ethics, integrity, equity and social justice. ACAP’s Bachelor of Counselling and Bachelor of Counselling (Coaching) are accredited with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). In addition, the Bachelor of Counselling (Coaching) is accredited with the International Coach Federation (ICF). Courses are available full-time or part-time, on campus, online or by blended delivery. Students can commence their course in February, May or September each year.
