A qualification, usually involving three or four years of study, awarded to a student who has completed an undergraduate course

Bridging course

Definition

A course that assists students to gain knowledge in specialist areas that are a core component of the course. If a course requires a prerequisite in an area that students have not studied or worked with before, a bridging course will help them to bridge the gap in that knowledge and gain admission.
