Graduate Certificate in Health (Intensive Care Nursing)
Federation University Australia - Online

Course outline

The new Graduate Certificate in Health (Intensive Care Nursing), offered online in combination with structured work-integrated learning, aims to address the specialised nursing workforce and skills shortage, made evident in the 2018 Victorian Government Department of Jobs and Small Business, Labour Market Research Report on Nurses in Victoria.

Throughout this program you will examine key aspects of critical patient care whilst also developing your analytical, leadership and communication skills.

This program is suitable for registered nurses practicing in a clinical area, considered commensurate with program learning objectives.

Graduates may work in intensive care and high dependency units upon successful completion.

Other Graduate Certificate in Health, Graduate Diploma of Health and Master of Health study options are also available.

Please note, this program is offered part-time only (duration is 1 year).

Note

To help you get the most from your online learning experience, it’s important that you own or have frequent access to a fast and reliable computer that’s ideally not more than two years old.
You will also need frequent access to a reliable high-speed internet connection. You should expect to use approximately 5GB of data each month, per course, just for study use.
