Course outline

In the higher education diploma year, students develop an understanding of the core concepts of business, including management, accounting and marketing. On successful completion of the diploma progress into the Griffith University bachelor with 80 credit points. This degree provides highly motivated students the opportunity to develop core business skills in areas such as financial management, leadership and management, and enhance these with an understanding of how to manage employment relations in a culturally diverse context. You’ll gain an in-depth understanding of the tourism sector, underscored by sustainability principles – core to modern business practice. In your fourth year, you will acquire high-level research skills and take a deeper dive into the topic of your choice.
