Course outline

The Diploma in Entrepreneurship aims to provide you with the opportunity to develop your entrepreneurial talent and capability while also providing a pathway into Business, Creative Industries and IT undergraduate degrees at QUT. With a strong focus on developing your entrepreneurial mindset, you will develop the the necessary capabilities to identify and grow entrepreneurial opportunities as well as how to plan, establish, lead and influence others while engaging with the broader entrepreneurship eco-system.

Note

Part-time students should note that daytime attendance may be required.

Combined diploma/degrees

Upon completion of this diploma, you will be automatically offered a place in the single degrees of Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Creative Industries, Bachelor of Communication, and the Bachelor of Information Technology. Each of your diploma units will be credited to each degree.

Prerequisites

Applicant must be 16; Completion of Year 12 or attained age 18 years

Assumed knowledge

English or Literature, or English and Literature Extension, or English as an Additional Language (Units 3 & 4, C)
