Bachelor of Science – Mathematics
(WITHDRAWN)
University of Southern Queensland - Toowoomba

Course outline

This program prepares students to play leading roles in science, education, industry and society. Combining the rigour and logic of a scientific approach with the specifics of a professional area, this mathematics program is for students interested in finding patterns in numbers, space and abstractions. Students can develop their skills and knowledge through courses in algebra and calculus, high performance numerical computing and foundation mathematics. Students benefit from the use of online technologies that improve the learning experience. Students have the option of choosing a second area of specialisation to complement their science major and create a program that best suits them.
