Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Laws (Honours)
Queensland University of Technology - Gardens Point

Course outline

The course covers all major areas of the law as well as a range of disciplines in science. As a graduate, you are prepared to enter the legal profession and are educated in the content and processes of science to prepare you for the complexities of legal issues with a range of scientific and technological dimensions. In the science component, you complete a major in addition to the core requirements for that degree. In the law component, you develop advanced legal research and writing skills, critical analysis and skills in interviewing, advocacy and dispute resolution. The course covers all academic subjects required for admission to legal practice and offers a range of law electives to align with career aims. Science subjects are taken in conjunction with law subjects throughout the first four years of the course, with law subjects only in the final semesters.
