This course emphasises practical experience through projects and design studios, and encourages creativity within a vigorous design culture. You develop adaptable and resilient capabilities to design, think critically, effectively communicate and collaborate to realise your ideas in diverse situations.
Visual communication prepares you to work across traditional and new interactive media forms to craft images that break through the communication clutter, simplify the complex, and change public opinion and understanding. You develop both practical and theoretical skills in multiple visual communication design specialisations including graphic design, typography, image making, information design, experience design, motion design, branding and interaction design.
The course also enables you to incorporate knowledge and skills from other study areas into the degree.
