This course emphasises practical experience through projects and design studios, and encourages creativity within a vigorous design culture. You develop adaptable and resilient capabilities to design, think critically, effectively communicate and collaborate to realise your ideas in diverse situations.
Interior architecture graduates plan and execute the layout, finishes, lighting, fittings, and furnishings in domestic interior design, retail and entertainment industry design, hospitality industry design, commercial office, and corporate design.
You are supported by contemporary relevant teaching and a focus on new and emergent fields including small and large-scale design in real and virtual environments, physical and digital experimentation, body/space relations, and design for health and social inclusion.
The course also enables you to incorporate knowledge and skills from other study areas into the degree.
