This course emphasises practical experience through projects and design studios, and encourages creativity within a vigorous design culture. You develop adaptable and resilient capabilities to design, think critically, effectively communicate and collaborate to realise your ideas in diverse situations. The course also enables you to incorporate knowledge and skills from other study areas into the degree. The fashion major offers a conceptually driven, designer-level course delivered in a studio setting. You are advised by leading industry mentors and embrace the challenges and opportunities of twenty-first century fashion including ethics and sustainability, industry practices and emerging digital technologies. You work individually and in teams to real-world design briefs and projects.
