Course outline

This program is the first step to becoming a professional, registered architect in Australia. You’ll learn how to design in response to climate and context from lecturers who have strong, local industry links and international perspectives, and have opportunities to develop special areas of interest. Study design principles, sustainability, emerging technologies, the history of buildings and culture, and more. When you graduate, you can progress to the professional Master of Architecture. Other requirements

To progress to the Master of Architecture you must achieve a minimum GPA of 4.5 in the Bachelor of Architectural Design. If you achieve a GPA between 4.0 and 4.5 you must undertake six months (or equivalent) of professional experience as approved by the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology before progressing to the Master of Architecture.
