JMC Academy was established in 1982 to meet the demand for qualified professionals in the entertainment technology industry. Today, JMC is Australia's leading entertainment technology education and training provider, catering for the growing demands of the creative industries. Courses are available in the areas of popular music and performance, audio engineering and sound production, film and television production, 3D animation, and entertainment business management. The Academy is located in South Brisbane, in the heart of the city's creative industries precinct. Many of JMC Academy's staff members have long-standing involvement in the industry, ensuring our students have access to timely and relevant career information and quality industry contacts.

Open Day

JMC Academy is holding an Open Day on Saturday, 21 January 2012 at its Brisbane campus - 75 Grey Street, South Brisbane. On the day there will be campus tours, course overviews, and the ability to speak first-hand with current students, scholarship winners and the Heads of JMC’s Music, Audio, Animation, Film & TV and Entertainment Business Management departments. Attendees can also view student work.

Facilities

The Academy's modern facilities ensure that students use the latest equipment and
software including professional recording studios, digital media and animation labs, rehearsal studios, digital television editing suites, green screen studios for TV production, and MIDI lab.

Scholarships

Each year, JMC Academy offers scholarships equivalent to first year tuition fees in
