Griffith University (GU) prepares graduates to play their part in the world. The curriculum fosters a global perspective in all students and provides a variety of experiences that enrich university life - including opportunities to study and work abroad. A focus on work integrated learning produces graduates ready to make a real contribution to their local and international communities.
Drawing on the University’s founding strengths, Griffith’s teaching and
research addresses some of the world’s most pressing issues. Griffith was the
first Australian university to offer degrees in areas considered pivotal in today’s
society - environmental science and Asian studies. We now offer a full range of
programs across business, arts, education, law, health, science, environment,
engineering, and information technology.
Griffith has close partnerships with more than 150 educational institutions,
many of whom are world leaders. The latest design in learning spaces and
technology underpins teaching and learning excellence. The flagship Griffith
Honours College also provides high-achieving commencing students with
enhanced skills and qualities in high demand by employers - leadership, teamwork, a global perspective, civic responsibility, research, and industry experience. Our academic and equity scholarships also help put quality
education within everyone’s reach.
The University has a strong commitment to excellence in research and
competes successfully for research funding. Programs leading to the award of
Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) are offered in all
areas of the University’s major research interests.
The University operates on five campuses between Brisbane and the Gold
Coast – at South Bank, Nathan, Mt Gravatt, Logan, and Southport - each with
a distinct atmosphere and different academic options. With students from
more than 125 countries and a full range of services and facilities, clubs and
activities, campus life is dynamic and fun. To view a map of the campuses visit www.griffith.edu.au/locations.
