For over 28 years the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP) has been equipping graduates to work in psychology and related fields such as counselling, community services, coaching and people management by providing education focused on the development of practical skills and knowledge.

ACAP students are prepared professionally and personally to work in both community and corporate settings, gaining expertise, ethics and the values of integrity, equity and social justice. ACAP's degree level counselling courses are accredited with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia.

Courses are available full or part-time, on campus, by flexible delivery or a mix of modes. Students can choose to commence their study in February, June or September each year.

Student Facilities

On campus facilities include five training rooms, wireless Internet access, student kitchen with fridge and microwave and a library with audiovisual and online resources.

Student Support Services

LEARNING SUPPORT - ACAP recognises that many students are studying at a tertiary or vocational education level for the first time or have not studied in a long time, and may need some support to make this transition. The student support team offers a range of workshops as well as face to face, telephone and email support to students.

COUNSELLING SUPPORT - Studying can be stressful and the nature of ACAP courses can at times have an emotional impact. We have a trained counsellor equipped to help students through difficult times.

Fee HELP

ACAP is a government approved higher education provider which means domestic students in approved courses can access FEE-HELP loans to cover part or all of their tuition fees.
