OP ineligible - Queensland Year 12 students

Students who complete Queensland Year 12 and do not qualify for an OP can still gain entry to courses offered at tertiary institutions participating in QTAC. Selection ranks for OP ineligible students are calculated from schedules developed by the Queensland Studies Authority (QSA) and QTAC in consultation with tertiary institutions.

If you are a 2014 Queensland Year 12 students who is OP ineligible and have lodged a QTAC application, you can view and print a record of the QTAC selection rank allocated to your Year 12 results from Tuesday, 30 December 2014. This service enables applicants to view and print a record of the QTAC selection rank allocated to their Year 12 studies.

Please note this service does not calculate selection ranks that may be allocated to any additional studies submitted as part of a QTAC application such as AMEB music qualifications or Certificate level study nor does the service provide any bonus ranks that may apply.

OP ineligible students who have not lodged a QTAC application can find out their OP ineligible selection rank by calling QTAC on 1300 GO QTAC (1300 467 822).

OP ineligible Estimators - 2013 data

QTAC’s OP ineligible Estimator is designed to estimate the OP ineligible rank that may be allocated to a Queensland Year 12 student's Senior studies if they do not qualify for an OP.

Instructions on how to use the Estimator are included.

The Student Advisers' Tertiary Course List is a supplement to the QTAC Guide. The publication contains a summary of course information, providing a ready-reference for counsellors assisting students. It also contains OP/selection rank cut-offs for courses covering the two previous admissions periods, so that advisers can have a quick reference to current movements in cut-offs. As the publication is designed to be read in conjunction with the QTAC Guide, it does not contain recommended studies, and course details and footnotes have been kept to a minimum.

Please note, all of the course information contained in this publication can be easily accessed via the Course Search function on this website.
