Enabling SSL

QTAC's Online services use SSL encryption. 

To enable SSL, follow these steps:

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0:

  1. Select the Tools -> Internet Options ... - use the 2 steps shown below.


  2. Enable SSL - use the 4 steps below.




Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0: 

  1. Select Tools -> Internet Options
  2. Click on the Advanced tab
  3. Scroll down to Security - see below
  4. Select Use SSL 3.0 and Use TLS 1.0

   

    4.    Click ok.


Netscape 7 and higher:

  1. Select the Edit -> Preferences ... - use the 2 steps shown below.


  2. Enable SSL - use the 4 steps shown below.


Firefox:

  1.  Click Tools -> Options

           

  2.  Select Encryption
  3.  Tick Use SSL3.0 and Use TLS 1.0
