Enabling JavaScript

QTAC's main website includes dynamic navigation elements which require JavaScript to function correctly. If you do not have JavaScript enabled, or your browser is using an early version of JavaScript, you will be automatically redirected to the text-only version of this website.

To enable JavaScript, follow these steps:

Microsoft Internet Explorer - all versions

  1. From Internet Explorer's Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  2. Within the Internet Options window, click on the Privacy tab.
  3. Under the Security tab, select Internet.
  4. Move the slider to Medium.
  5. To close the Internet Options window, click OK.

       then follow the steps below:

  1. From Internet Explorer's Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  2. Within the Internet Options window, click on the Security tab.
  3. Click on the Custom level button
  4. Scroll down to Active Scripting.
  5. Set the option to Enable then click ok.
  6. Select yes to the pop up window asking "Are you sure you want to change the settings for this zone?"
  7. Click ok.

For Macintosh:

  1. From the Edit menu, select Preferences.
  2. From the Web Browser menu, select Web Content.
  3. From the Active Content window that appears on the right hand side, select Enable Scripting.
  4. Click OK to exit.

Netscape 6 and 7:

  1. From Netscape's Edit menu, click Preferences.
  2. Within the Preferences window, click on the small arrow next to Advanced.
  3. Click on Scripts & Plugins below.
  4. In the section Enable JavaScript for, check Navigator.
  5. To close the Preferences window, click OK.

Firefox:

  1.  From the Tools menu, click Options
  2.  Within the Options window, select Content
 
3.  Tick "Enable Javascript"

Other Browsers:

JavaScript should be enabled by default.  Please consult your browser's Help files.
