Program outline: This program provides a hands-on study of professional film, video, and digital screen media production. Students develop knowledge and skills in production, direction, camera, sound, lighting, editing, screenwriting, production design, digital compositing, scriptwriting, and the ability to apply these within industry frameworks. Students learn to work in a team as they bring their stories to life on the screen. Supported by informative history and theory courses and with application through a supervised work placement, students develop advanced skills in preparation for the film, television and screen media industries.

Majors: Film and screen media; screen studies; scriptwriting.

Career opportunities: Film and video production including editing, cinematography, scriptwriting, sound recording, digital compositing, lighting, digital screen production, screen distribution and exhibition.
