Course outline: This degree develops knowledge in the molecular, cellular and physiological processes of the human body. Teaching methods are based on problem-solving and case studies, and students are exposed to laboratory and clinical practicum, emphasising the applications of biomedical science. The program provides a foundation for further study leading to postgraduate qualifications in medicine and other allied health professions. Outstanding graduates may apply to complete an honours year.

Career opportunities: Health care industry, health administration, the pharmaceutical, diagnostic, veterinary/animal health and medical devices industries, biomedical research, the biotechnology sector.

Registration: Anatomical Society of Australia and New Zealand; Australasian Society for Human Biology; Australian and New Zealand Society for Cell Biology; and Australian Society for Microbiology.

Combined degrees: This course can be studied in conjunction with most other Bond University courses. Inform Bond University at your interview if you wish to study a combined degree.
