Course outline: This degree provides understanding of the exercise response. The program forms an integral part of health maintenance and outcomes, in line with the trend for medical practitioners to incorporate directed physical activity as part of their patients' health care plan. It combines clinical exercise, exercise prescription and physiological principles of rehabilitation with a strong foundation in core sciences such as physiology, biochemistry and anatomy. The degree provides a pathway to postgraduate entry into the Bond University Doctor of Physiotherapy program.

Other requirements: Students are required to undertake two 50-hour placements in a relevant clinical practice.

Career opportunities: Cardiac technician, sleep technician, respiratory technician, trainee sonographer, pharmaceutical representative.

Combined degrees: This course can be studied in conjunction with most other Bond University courses. Inform Bond University at your interview if you wish to study a combined degree.
