Course outline: This program focuses on the professional outcomes of high performance sport, coaching and graduate entry physiotherapy. In particular it provides knowledge and understanding in the area of science and technology surrounding the elite athlete. The program produces graduates with knowledge in the basic clinical and applied sciences that relate to sport and high performance athletes and provides a pathway into the Bond University Doctor of Physiotherapy.
Career opportunities: Sport scientist working with sports institutes and teams, exercise and conditioning specialist, drug control/sports services officer, fitness instructor, exercise rehabilitation, clinical biomechanics specialties.
Registration: Sports Medicine Australia; Australian Strength and Conditioning Association.
Combined degrees: This course can be studied in conjunction with most other Bond University courses. Inform Bond University at your interview if you wish to study a combined degree.
