Course outline: This two-year studio-based program is for those wishing to enter the entertainment industry. Students complete 24 subjects, including 14 core film and television subjects and four compulsory University core subjects. Students can use the remaining six elective subjects to develop additional film and television skills or to acquire a major in another area of choice. Students engage in extensive production and project work and develop a substantial portfolio of work throughout their studies. The film specialisations include producing, production techniques for documentaries, television commercials and music videos, interactive media (such as 3D animation), and critical studies. In addition, students are eligible to undertake industry internships for credit towards their degrees.
