Course outline: This degree offers a liberal education while preparing graduates for professional careers in a range of vocations. Teaching methods provide students with generic skills, specific knowledge and, where appropriate, professional experience. Students are required to complete a total of 24 subjects including two majors. Alternatively, students may complete one double major of 12 subjects in one subject area. Depending on the area of study, students may also undertake an internship program as part of their practical skills training. Students may undertake electives from wider University offerings related to their interest.

Majors: Advertising; Australian studies; communication; corporate communication; behaviour management; criminology; English as an international language (EIL); French language and studies; film and television; foreign correspondence; Chinese language and studies; global governance and regional politics; international diplomacy; international relations; East Asian studies; Japanese language and studies; journalism; language teaching (TESOL & LOTE); media studies; psychology; philosophy; public relations; Spanish language and studies; sports journalism; and television journalism.
