Non-Year 12 - How to Apply

QTAC's application methods relate to the category of applicant - Current Year 12 or Non-Year 12.

Are you a Non-Year 12 Applicant?

You are considered a Non-Year 12 applicant if

  • you are NOT currently studying an Australian Year 12 qualification
  • you are studying an overseas Year 12 qualification, i.e. NCEA in New Zealand.
  • you are already enrolled at a tertiary institution and want to apply for a course at another institution
  • you are using Alternative Entry qualifications to be considered for tertiary entrance
  • you are completing Senior External Examination subjects or Certificate IV in Adult Tertiary Preparation

How do I apply?

Apply by Web (ABW)

Non-Year 12 applicants can lodge their applications online through the ABW online application service.

QTAC Tertiary Study Application Form 

Alternatively, Non-Year 12 applicants can apply using the QTAC Tertiary Study Application Form available in the QTAC Guide: Tertiary Courses purchased at newsagencies or from QTAC.  Applications (with payment for the processing charge enclosed) must be mailed or delivered to QTAC.

Applicants who have applied by form can choose to access Current Applicant online services for a fee.
